Watching my daughter learn new things and grow into a loving person. Even as a toddler she shows empathy and compassion, loving on her friends and family and pets all the time and getting so excited when she is shown the same in return. Feeling her little arms around my neck and knowing she is learning and modeling love like this fills me with joy.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I am my daughter’s first teacher, which means I have to model things for her to do, ways to act, behaviors to follow, and boundaries to set. This has made me reevaluate so many things in my own life and has pushed me to be a better, stronger version of myself than I would have thought possible before her.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay off some bills finally and then I would take my daughter on educational and memory making trips. I am a big believer in experiences over material items and I can’t wait to travel with my girl and show her how big and beautiful the world is.
