Watching my boys succeed. You always hear of how hard parenting is. I am so wrapped up in my children’s lives and helping them navigate different obstacles, others personalities, different trials, and things that may be out of their control. I get to teach them to trust in God and they will always come out on top no matter what the circumstance.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience and unconditional love. Being able to read your kids and how they learn is an “art”. My heart aches for so many kids that aren’t mine. I have a nickname at the high school I work for, “Mama G”. I have talked so many kids out of dropping out, helping them understand how wonderful it’s going to be to graduate and have a family of their own. I get to cheer my own kids on & help them dream big and express that it’s not bad to believe they will receive so much good in their life.
What would you do with $20,000?I would set up accounts for my boys with high yield interest so if something happens to me or their dad, they’ll be taken care of. Whether for college, wedding ring…. Or their own kids. My life revolves around my kids and teaching them how to be good humans.
